Room bookings in Nanaimo looked bleak in early 2022, so we were asked to incentivize visitation at a difficult time of year: the Coronavirus virus was still raging, it was post-holidays, and many area attractions were out of season. 

We created a campaign aimed at audiences already considering travel to the Island. The campaign was targeted by online behaviours through programmatic advertising and radio in the key markets on the Island, Lower Mainland, and direct flight markets from the Interior of British Columbia and Alberta.

Like all of us, people were ready to start welcoming back friends and family, but maybe not into their homes just yet. So, why not Invite friends and family to hop, ship, or jump on over to Nanaimo, where they can save up to $100 off their stay at a participating hotel or motel?
